Job Title: Receptionist

Full Time, Contract-based (1 year - extendable)

Location: Sharjah

Work Timings: 6 Days. Mon-Sat, shifts: 7am - 4pm / 2pm - 11 pm

Preferred Industry: Hotel/Hospitality

Our client is a regional group that develops and operates mixed-use communities and they're currently looking for a receptionist who will manage the front desk, assist with general enquiries guests/residents may have, and assist with admin tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome residents and guests with professionalism and warmth.
  • Manage front desk operations including phone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries.
  • Handle Classes registrations and renewals, including processing payments.
  • Coordinate reservations for clubhouse facilities, events, and activities.
  • Maintain records and reports related to sales, bookings, and footfall.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and correspondence.
  • Promote clubhouse services and upsell classes packages or events when appropriate.
  • Always ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the reception area.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 2-3 years of hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience, preferably in a 5-star hotel, resort, or club.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. 
  • Similar experience in clubhouse or sports facility reception is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a member-first attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and reservation systems.
  • Presentable and professional appearance with a high standard of grooming suitable for a luxury environment.
  • Average background knowledge of sports facilities and activities such as swimming, gym, martial arts, and outdoor court games (to guide and answer basic queries).
  • Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Willingness to relocate to Sharjah.

  • AED 6,000 total package (inclusive).
