Job Title: Inventory & Storekeeper Manager / Team Leader

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, self-driven Storekeeper Team Leader to oversee all inventory operations for a manufacturing facility in the construction materials sector. The ideal candidate will have experience handling raw materials and finished goods, strong problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate stock levels through cycle counts and reconciliation.

  • Oversee receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching of materials and finished goods.

  • Ensure systematic storage, labeling, and safe material handling.

  • Monitor stock levels and request replenishment proactively.

  • Maintain GRNs, issue logs, consumption reports, and warehouse dashboards.

Operational Management

  • Supervise storekeepers and helpers; assign tasks and evaluate performance.

  • Coordinate with production and procurement to ensure timely material availability.

  • Enforce safety, stacking, and housekeeping standards.

  • Update ERP/inventory software accurately.

  • Identify process bottlenecks and support improvements.

Candidate Requirements

  • Self-motivated and accountable with minimal supervision.

  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.

  • Fast learner, adaptable to new processes and systems.

  • Hands-on mindset; willing to work on the production floor.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5–8 years in inventory/storekeeping for manufacturing (construction materials preferred).

  • Familiarity with raw materials, chemicals, packaging, and finished goods.

  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.

  • Diploma or bachelors in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.

  • Good English communication; Urdu/Indian language is a plus.

  • Certifications in Warehouse Safety, Inventory Control, or Supply Chain (preferred).
